LuxFLAG Breakfast Seminar
LuxFLAG’s next breakfast seminar will take place under the topic ‘Road to success: how to build viable projects in impact investing’, hosted by Banque Internationale à Luxembourg (BIL) on 28 June 2017. We are pleased to welcome Georges Sander, Investment Manager, Infra Capital Myanmar (ICM) and Moussa Seck, Founder and Director, Cohabit’AGE a.s.b.l. (Luxembourg) who will present exciting stories from the field. They will make the case for social impact creation, be it locally or globally, and give insights how to develop, finance and drive impact investing projects to success.
Georges Sander will share the case of a Hybrid Rice Seed Center and Community Based Organisation Project under development in Myanmar. The case illustrates how financial and social returns can be achieved in a well-organized risk framework and how to bridge market gaps where green field projects may lack access to private sector financing.
Moussa Seck will present the social entrepreneurship project Habitsol bringing together seniors and refugees through intergenerational housing. He will share his experience in building social housing projects and give insights how a viable impact project can be developed and replicated.
Host: 69, route d’Esch L-2953 Luxembourg (Parking facilities are available on site, we recommend the use of public transport)
