At the ALFI European Risk Management Conference, Sachin Vanakalas, Director of Operations and Sustainability at LuxFLAG took part in the panel discussion moderated by Luc Berg (ALRiM) together with Annemarie Arens (Independent Director), Julie Becker (Luxembourg Stock Exchange), Chitro Majumdar (RsRL). The panel discussion focused specifically on how to manage climate change risks and highlighted that the evaluation of companies is changing due to climate change. Measurement and reporting of climate risks of portfolios will become part of day-to-day business. Climate change should be considered as a systemic risk which is having impact on financial markets in general and governance at Board level, especially also in the light of upcoming EU policies.
