ALFI organised its annual roadshow to Frankfurt on 8 June 2018 with 300 delegates attending. Mario Mantrisi, General Manager of LuxFLAG, moderated the workshop on "Sustainable Investment Funds: What the future promises" with Steffen Hörter (Allianz Global Investors), Dr. Rupini Deepa Rajagopalan (Berenberg), Nikolaus Rummler (IPConcept), Florian Sommer (Union Investment) and Henning Schwabe (Arendt&Medernach) joining as panelists. The discussion focused on the new EU legislative proposals that the EU Commission has published, future expectations of investors and how to better tap the retail market. The panel highlighted that already the announcement of new regulations has set strong signaling effects to the industry. Furthermore, it was agreed upon that a common definition of sustainable finance would bring more clarity and transparency.
