LuxFLAG organised a breakfast seminar at BIL on 28 June, having welcomed Georges Sander, Investment Manager, Infra Capital Myanmar and Moussa Seck, Founder of Cohabit'AGE a.s.b.l. The speakers shared two cases of social impact creation, a rice processing project in Myanmar and a local housing initiative in Luxembourg, giving insights on how to develop, finance and drive impact investing projects to success.

Georges Sander shared the case of a Hybrid Rice Seed Center and Community Based Organisation Project under development in Myanmar. The case illustrated how financial and social returns can be achieved in a well-organized risk framework and how to bridge market gaps where green field projects may lack access to private sector financing. Moussa Seck and Virginie Issumo presented the local social entrepreneurship project Habitsol bringing together seniors and refugees through intergenerational housing. 45 delegates attended the seminar.
